2 Fluid Ounce Chinese Chili flakes 3/10 Fluid Ounce Chinese Five Spice 1 1/2 Fluid Ounce Mixed Sesame Seeds 1/2 Fluid Ounce Ground Szechuan Peppercorns 2 Each crushed Bayleaf 8 Fluid Ounce Canola Oil
Grind all ingredients that need to be grounded. Heat ingredients slowly on very low heat in oil for about an hour. DO NOT STRAIN. Cool. Chili flakes should be made from Chinese peppers. If none are available, use spicy, dark red colored peppers and not Italian chili flakes.
