3 Pound Tofu 1/4 Cup Canola Oil 1 Tablespoon Salt 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper 1 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce 1 1/2 Cup Water 1 Cup thin sliced Green Onion 1 Cup fine chopped Cilantro 1 Tablespoon Crushed Red Chile Pepper 1 Tablespoon Sesame Oil 2 Tablespoon Mirin
Remove Tofu from packages, wrap generously with paper towels, place on a sheet pan, top with 4 sheet pans and set aside for 30 minutes. This is to remove the access water from the Tofu. While Whisk ingredients together and set aside. Once Tofu properly dry, cut into 1/2 inch pieces. Place in a mixing bowl with Canola oil and season with salt and pepper. Line 2 full Sheet pans with paper and spread seasoned tofu on them, careful to keep most pieces seperate for even browning. Roast Tofu at 350 degrees for approximated 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Check at the half way point to rotate. Once desired color is reached, toss tofu in marinade, place in a full 2" hotel, refrigerate and cool. Try to allow tofu to sit in marinade a minimum of 2 hours before use.
